For Deborah Thompson, creating an exciting designer headpiece is an addictive love affair for fashion. Deborah has accumulated vast skills and experience since beginning sewing at the age of 10.

Deborah’s venture into millinery began as a hobby in 2008 and has now developed into a full time passion creating that ‘Unique’ one off headpiece for events all over Australia.

She is consistently attending millinery forums and classes with the many Australian millinery designers to keep her up to date with new designs, trends, materials and trimmings.  Deborah is a member of the recently formed online Hat Academy that was created by Elaine Mergard.  Some examples of her work can also be viewed on Hat Academy.
